This is the first time I ever heard anyone say to let the cheesecake come to room temperature. I thought I was the only one who did that. There is nothing worse than ordering cheesecake at a restaurant and it comes ice cold.

I recently made my first cheesecake and while I was pleased, I'd definitely like to try it again with these directions. Hopefully it'll firm up better this time (gonna use the measurements I read in the comments.)

This video makes it really easy!! One question though, how can I mix/whip if I don't have a mixer machine? Here in Spain aren't so common. Thanks!

Your version of cheesecake just does't match MINE. It's so easy. Use any at least 8x8 in. pan, deep.First, the crust should be a one-crust pie dough with whichever spice reigns in the c.cake.(Use organic unbleached white flour.) NO GRAHAM CRACKERS. (Or you can use nuts, whole,a lttle real butter, sprinkle with flour, don't bake.) Then bake at 375 for about 12 min. Cooked but not done. Cool. Mix any recipe for c.cake which has 4-7 cream cheese(8 oz.), a bit of sour cream or yogurt, follow the recipe for the rest-then, bake it until DONE- you can tell if is by no more jiggles in the middle & just touch of dark brown on the edges. I usually put in the freezer for the lst hr. or so, than keep it uncovered in the fridge overnight before eating. Simple. C.cake is NOT hard to make.
