Okay, my girlfriend went from super mad to super happy after eating this dish. lol It's I've officially renounced my old favorite pasta sauce recipe that I've been using for YEARS, just for this one. I would recommend a little more garlic (1 or 2 more cloves), diced green peppers and spicy sausage for a little more of a kick to it. Oh, and don't forget the garlic bread. Otherwise, its perfect. My girlfriend LOVED it and I really enjoyed making such a tasty dish. DEFINITELY BETTER then typical Italian restaurants I've ate at in NJ. (This recipe is a severing size of 5 or more people but leftovers shouldn't be much of a problem. :-P) Enjoy!

I just remembered that the addition of park rind and some red pepper flakes are a necessity to make it truly out of this world. (I just noticed that I had forgotten when I saw another comment) thanks, KMDecina :-)

I enjoyed this video, but I've been making this for years. I take the casing off of the sausage, add fresh mushrooms, and also add in some red wine.

For those of you who do not know how to add the recipe. In the summary under the video. Click in the fourth line where it says "Worlds Best Pasta Sauce" and is highlighted. You can then add the recipe at that point

this is almost my homemade spaghetti sauce, except i do not put any sugar, and instead of 2 cans of tomato sauce i use 1 can of tomato sauce and 1 can of crushed tomatoes and a can of tomato juice instead of water. i do not put fennel seed. and love to mix up a bunch of different herbs and spices, super yummy and everyone who has tried it has fallen in love

This is the most wonderful sauce I have ever made. Beats the h*$# out of Ragu or any other store bought sauce. I still can't believe I made this. Thank you for this recipe. I did make a tweek though.. didn't have paste so I used more tomato sauce and left out the water. Other than that I followed to the tee. FABULOUS!!!

This recipe is almost identical to my own and I get rave reviews and requests for it. But I've never written it down. My only difference is I add some mushrooms (fried in butter before adding) and a green pepper. Otherwise, it's identical. What can I say, "I agree this is the World's Best Pasta recipe"!
