Nice dish , but try this , instead of bread crumbs , use Panko , the crunch add another layer & add to the ham & Swiss a few Spears of blanched Aspargus !! ( blanch in Plastic bag in microwave abt 2 mins) , easy clean up !! If u wish to add even another layer of taste, use Blue cheese on top rather than more swiss .. As they do in France ;-)) enjoy

I always have loved chicken cordon bleu and chicken kiev but I find the use of skinless chicken breasts to result in only a sad approximation of what used to be. Could you make some with skin on just to demonstrate the technique? Jim

I also use the drippings or chicken broth with bullion to make a gravy. I add a little of the cheese to this gravy once it is thickened, and the flavor is great.

i made this a couple of times but i used pastrami the 1st time and provolone cheese and ham the 2nd time i used ham and provolone cheese it was really good.

I made this recipe last night and it was so very deleious . I had 2% Provologne cheese on hand instead of Swiss Cheese. Followed the rest of the recipe step by step, and I was very happy with the outcome. I give this recipe 5 Stars and I will make this recipe again. It's a keeper in my kitchen.

This recipe is amazing! I used the pepper jack cheese a few times and it is very good! It is also good with muenster cheese!

Looks great! But I think I will try switching the swiss for some pepper jack to add a little spice to it.
