#Carol Cannon that sounds wonderful and a time saver as well. I bet your home smells so good! I do that with leftovers as well. Makes for a quick meal.

This is one of my favorite soup recipes. I add a little Rubbed Sage. (KEY WORD - LITTLE) A little rubbed sage goes a long way for flavor. I am a widow and wholeheartedly believe in the cook once eat 3 times philosophy. Only I cook large batches and freeze 6 to 8 servings for later use. When you open my freezer there are always 25 to 30 2 cup containers full of something wonderful.
