I like it with the bell pepper. A curious side note; in a similar recipe from an old community cook book, bell pepper was called a mango. Anyway, this is one of my old favorites. On a negative note, am I the only one annoyed by the music?

Similar to what my family cooks. We use broth instead of water and not as much salt. Also add some green pepper. Would be more flavorful if you saute the onion and garlic and then add the ground beef. Sometimes my mother adds sliced mushrooms or cheddar cheese.

This is very close to my Mothers recipe. She finally told her secret... she added Paprika at the very end! I had tried this recipe that all of us liked, but did not know about that Paprika!
