hawaiian44 - you need to go into the text recipe (link below the video) to add it to your recipe box. This is very similar to a recipe I do but I add cream of mushroom soup and you get a gravy for it all as well... if you leave it in for 14-16 hours on very low, you get stew. :)

I've followed this recipe EXACTLY as shown. Add the water or beef broth, it helps steam the vegetables. If you want to thicken the gravy, do it after removing the vegetables and roast. Then, cook it long enough (perhaps in a skillet, not the slow cooker, until the thickening agent (flour or corn starch) is cooked and not raw.
