Who doesn't love homemade hot chocolate?? Adding the half-and-half to temper the heat of the hot chocolate is a good tip and would only make it richer. And why not marshmallows AND whipped cream AND a sprinkle of cocoa? Have always used one, but not all three. Don't know why I never thought of that.

Love this on a cold winter day! I also love to add a bit of peppermint extract and garnish with a candy cane :) Or stir in some caramel syrup! The possibilities are endless!
