has anyone tried this recipe using panko bread crumbs making it more crunchy

This one is alot of work. Our staple recipe for 25 years: just put parmesan, seasoned bread crumbs, garlic salt or galic powder in a zip lock and toss with water dampened chicken. 375 for an hour. Forget the oil!

Jaytee, I always use Panko in place of bread crumbs. While I haven't made this specific recipe, Panko will work. Go for it!
