I agree, if there is only a video and no recipe I skip over it. Our internet connection is unreliable so videos do not come through well.

I NEED this recipe printed, the video does not give the measurement for the water. Can someone not print out the proper recipe so we can save it to our recipe box. Looks like I am not the only person wanting this. Hope some one can help.

Seems pretty labor intensive. I will experiment with food processor or breadmaker when I get a chance. Not sure on the amount of water,either. Be careful about adding flour--it is done in two additions on the video. Thanks to the two reviewers for transcribing the parts you could figure out. Will post and share if it works.

Why is it that the recipe never follows the video?Knowing that now,I don't watch them any more.Can this not be changed??? Karen

2 pkgs yeast 1/4 tsp sugar warm water (? 1/4 cup?) Wait until foamy add: 2/3 cups warm milk, 1/4 cup oil, 1 egg, 1/3 c sugar, 1 Tbsp poppy seeds pinch of salt mix well Cut in 2 sticks of butter into 4 cups of flour Mix all together with a dough hook adding up to 1/2cup flour if needed. Let rise 30 minutes Knead 4 minutes Divide into 4 portions Put 3 portions in the fridge ans work with one. Roll out to 12"x12"x1/8" Cut into 6 2" strips Stack strips on top of each other Place cut side down in muffin trays Let rise 30min or until doubled Pre-heat oven to 350F Brush with butter and sprinkle with poppyseeds. Bake for 25 minutes. Serve with butter and honey.
