I used dark tin and I thought 8 min with my oven was a little long

I have been making these cookies for over 20 years. Everyone loves them. This is a Pam Traversey-Gregor Christmas cookie gift. This is a very old treat. Given to me from Kitty DeWilde. Thank you and enjoy the cookies.

I make these but with a brownie mix and everyone goes crazy for them. Just make the brownie mix as directed, fill lightly greased mini muffin tins 2/3 full, bake at 350 for 15 min. As soon as they come out of the oven, push a mini peanut butter cup in each one, then let them cool for 15 min. Remove from tins by running a knife around the edge of each muffin. Finish cooling on a wire rack. Soooo good!

GentaG--the chocolates are Reeses peanut butter cup (Mini), you can find them in any candy/grocery store (Target,Wal-mart,Meijer,Kroger's)

I just made the peanutbutter cookiesrecipe and they turned out great. My brother hates peanutbutter but he loves the cookies. we had a blast making them too.
