Video: Pumpkin Ice Cream

Thanks Westie's Girl for your written recipe version. It makes it easy to gather correct amount of ingredients and how to make it.

Cut and paste that recipe back into Word and it should format correctly...but at least you get the verbage... :)

Transcribed from the video cause I needed it too! Enjoy! Ingredients: • 1 ½ C Light Cream • 6 egg yolks • ¾ C sugar • ½ tsp vanilla • ¾ tsp pumpkin pie spice • 1 ½ C heavy cream • 1 ½ C canned pumpkin


Directions:

1.	Scald 1 ½ C of light cream 2. In a large bowl, whisk together 6 egg yolks and ¾ C of sugar. Once mixed, whisk in ½ tsp vanilla. 3. Gradually mix (temper) the scalded cream into the bowl of sugar/egg/vanilla. 4. Add ¾ tsp of pumpkin pie spice to the bowl and mix. 5. Return mixture to saucepan and stir over medium heat for ~10 minutes. DO NOT BOIL. 6. Remove from heat and whisk in 1 ½ C heavy cream and the 1 ½ C pumpkin. 7. Pass entire mixture through a strainer in case any cooked egg pieces are inside. 8. Refrigerate until well chilled. 9. Freeze in your ice cream maker with the speed to 1 for 15-20 minutes until desired consistency.

They seem like a taste idea but can u do it with sour colade?
