Flank steak and skirt steak are t the same cut of meat! Flank I thinly cut on the diagonal. Skirt is already a thin cut of meat.

When I do marinated meats I pierce the steak with a fork multiple times before putting the meat in the marinade. This will help the marinade seep in to the meat for more tenderizing and flavoring. Just a thought! Great recipe tho! Thanks.
