This salad is going to be in the Allrecipes Hall of Fame one day! My friend Ali made this refreshing summer salad for me, which is even better a few days later. Tortellini, a great vinaigrette, baby spinach, and feta. If you like balsamic vinegar, it's a must to add into the vinaigrette. Bon appetit!

This is old fashioned potato salad but with a delightful twist. There's lots and lots of tiny shrimp accompanying the potatoes, and when you're not expecting them, they're a wonderful taste sensation. This pleasing salad serves twelve.

Bacon sure does something wonderful for broccoli, and that 's the case with this great party salad. It 's fried up and crumbled and sprinkled on the fresh broccoli along with toasted sunflower seeds. Onions and raisins, also make an appearance.

Made ahead, a bowl of this salad would make a well-rounded lunch, or dinner for one of those too-busy-to-cook nights. The crunchiness of the broccoli, sunflower seeds and crisp crumbled bacon make the perfect foil for the mayonnaise-based dressing.

This is my simplest and easiest recipe yet for cucumber salad, my specialty! If you're not a sour cream fan, substituting plain yogurt works great.

An absolutely delicious coleslaw, more tart and tangy then the creamy kind. Can make this up to 2 weeks ahead of serving and it only gets better.

It's a cinch to mix this zesty salad together for a potluck. 'It'll feed a crowd and then some,' attests Karin Graw from Hudson, Wisconsin. 'For a lighter version, I use less oil and a sugar substitute for the dressing and toss in turkey bacon. Either way, it tastes great.'

This is a three cabbage slaw - green, red, and napa - but the real delight is the dressing. It is made with creamy peanut butter laced with brown sugar, fresh ginger, and garlic - and a bit of oil, vinegar, and soy sauce.
