Marinated beef cubes and fresh vegetables are portioned and frozen for later. When you're ready, thaw a few bags in the morning, and assemble the skewers while the grill is heating. You'll be home from work and eating dinner in no time!

It's easy to make this fun campfire dessert by stuffing a slice of candy bar into a banana, then wrapping the fruit in foil and cooking in the coals of a campfire for a few minutes. They make a nice option to S'mores. Just unwrap and eat with spoons.

This is easy as pie... no pun intended. The smokey flavor from the wood fire puts a great twist on an old favorite and with the help of a pizza stone, doing this over an open fire is easier than you may think.

Fantastic bars that have a lot of flexibility. You can adapt the recipe to your liking. Great for hikes, long road trips and camping as they store well and keep fairly long - unless you eat them all! Use any combination of chocolate chips, dried fruit, coconut, pecans, almond slices, or any other tidbits you'd like in a granola bar.

Great for sleep-overs and backyard camping trips. Bananas cooked in foil with chocolate chips and marshmallows. You can even bake these in the oven if a grill or campfire is not available. You can be creative with other toppings like maraschino cherries, peanut butter chips, coconut, butterscotch morsels or caramel.

This hearty melange of beans works just as well at the Thanksgiving feast as it does at a summer barbeque. Using canned beans makes it practical to incorporate the variety of legumes required for the calico effect, and simplifies the preparation.

A great combination of beans, smoked sausage and vegetables in an easy one skillet meal. We've been making this so long I can't even remember where I first got the recipe. It's a staple when we go camping. My teenage daughter and her friends love it. Serve with a green salad and French bread.
