I can't say that this was salsa for us but it makes a GREAT bruschetta! I added a touch of Frank's Hot Sauce and a little sea salt/fresh ground pepper. I spread it on slices of a french baguette. My family ate the whole mess of it and asked me to make it again tomorrow.

Made this on super bowl sunday at my boyfriend's mom's house and was worried no one would like it...it was a hit!!! everyone loved it and complimented me profusely! I told them it was my specialty as of this afternoon...lol.

So I don't know if I can totally rate THIS recipe because I changed it a lot since I didn't have a lot of the stuff, but what I did turned out really good! Instead of green onions, I used 1/2 of a regular onion (very finely diced). I didn't add the cheese, and instead of green chiles, I added some very finely diced green pepper. Then I also added lime juice from a whole lime. And I left out the olives....so maybe I should just create my own recipe since I changed it so much, but what I did turned out really good!

Very good if you like a mild, yet zippy salsa! (Which I do!) I like the flavor that the italian dressing brings in.

I liked this but it wasn't the best salsa. It was great for a quick fix. I would suggest adding a finely chopped jalapeno for a little more kick. Also add some lime juice. I think that might have been what was missing when I made it. It is good with the lime flavored tortilla chips. My husband and his brother liked.
