Hands down, one of the best potato salad I've ever had. The sauce was really perfect. I did what several people suggested and doubled the corn starch. And I added finely chopped bacon. I had cooked bacon in the oven earlier and used it. I put it into the sauce pan first and rendered out some more bacon fat, and them cut back on the butter just a bit. I think it could have used just a touch more onion, and maybe 1 more piece of celery. The recipe is more involved than throwing mayonnaise on boiled potato, but is not difficult and we'll worth effort.
