Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter & Honey
honey and nut flavor checked cereal
honey roasted peanuts
pretzels (like midgets or snaps)
1 (6 ounce) package
Don't understand why this has such a low rating average.....my boys thought this was GREAT! I didn't have honey peanut butter, I just used Trader Joe's peanut butter. No honey nut cereal or honey roasted peanuts either but Rice Chex and dry roasted peanuts worked just fine. I used a half cup each of dried cranberries and blueberries. GREAT movie snack. My kids especially enjoyed this. I liked how easy, cheap and maybe a smidge healthier this was for me to make, considering the packaged mixes my boys like cost five dollars a bag and have a ton of preservatives. I do recommend that you line your baking sheet with foil and keep your mix moving so it browns evenly.
This was pretty good. I didn't have PB w/ honey so I just added a tablespoon of honey. I also used almonds instead of peanuts and sunflower seeds since thats what I had. My first half batch got a little too brown at 10 minutes, so I did the next at 8 minutes and stirred it every so often and it was perfect.
