Whole Grain Sea Salt and Garlic Croutons

Original Recipe Yield 8 cups
 

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Roman Meal Bread, crusts trimmed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

  1. Place bread cubes on two foil-lined baking sheets. Let stand for 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Combine oil and garlic. Drizzle evenly over bread cubes; stir gently to evenly coat. Sprinkle with salt.
  4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, stirring once, or until golden brown. Cool completely.

  • Store for up to 1 month in self-sealing plastic bag.
