This is a keeper for me! I had a bag of peppermint (red and white) baking chips that I used instead and I used the "special dark" cocoa. Yummy!

I really liked this recipe. I added 1 tsp of vanilla and added pecans instead of white choc chips. They tasted great, will definitely make these again.

Loved them! We've been trying to be a little healthier around here lately, so I followed another reviewer's suggestion, and tried the 1/2 applesauce thing. Amazed, can't tell one bit there is half the butter in there! I will have to try that substitution in other recipes - I've seen it done a lot, but never tried it before today. We really loved this recipe. I did add a little vanilla, too, as I do in most recipes.

This recipe is perfect. The ONLY change I made (other than chips) was following the advice of other reviewers to use 1 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp baking soda. Oh my gosh! These are perfect. The first time I made them, I did not use chips at all. The second time, I used chocolate chips. When you take them out, they look a little under done, but after they sit for 5 minutes, they really are perfect. I put them in tupperware overnight and they kept very well for the 2 days they lasted. LOVE these! Thank you!

I have never made chocolate cookies, but decided to, today. I searched in google, and this site had the best sounding recipe. And it is a very good recipe! I did add about half a cup of coconut, put only 1 cup white chocolate chips, and 3/4 white sugar, and half cup brown sugar though. I put too big of spoonfuls on(2x cook time), but they are done, not dough, and not crunchy. Little crisp outside, and moist like cake inside.

These cookies are amazing!! Loved them. The cookie dough tasted soo good too. I used the recommended 1tsp baking powder and tsp baking soda instead. I also added 1tsp of vanilla and tsp of salt and they turned out amazing! Great recipe; thanks!

This recipe was really good, though to be honest, I would prefer a more rich chocolate flavor. Perhaps next time I will add some bittersweet cocoa chips or something similar. The only change I made was doing 1 tsp baking soda and then 1 tsp of baking powder. However, this made them more brownie like than I had really wanted. Next time I will omit the baking powder to try achieve a crunchier cookie as the recipe originally states. Will definitely try them again, but with bittersweet chocolate added in.

These were delicious. The only bad thing is that I modified the recipe and only made a dozen!!!! I added in a teaspoon of vanilla, dash of baking powder along with the baking soda and will certainly make these again!
