Original Recipe Yield 1 frosting for a 2 layer cake
 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons warm water
  • 1 (16 ounce) package confectioners' sugar

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine shortening, salt, vanilla, water and confectioners' sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
