"I had this at a restaurant, and, as always, I try and duplicate the dishes that I like. This is my version of these steamed baby carrots that are lightly coated in a sweet vanilla glaze." — Renee

20 baby carrots
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon white vinegar
salt and ground black pepper to taste
I loved this recipe! The vinegar balances out a bit of the sweetness and vanilla really compliments the carrots. I have made this 2 times and the 4 of us who tried this thought they were great tasting carrots!
I really enjoyed this. I ended up using regular carrots instead of baby since that is what I had on hand. I am not a huge fan of cooked carrots so I didn't steam them very long. Overall it was a very easy, delicious recipe.

Simple to make with ingredients that are usually on-hand. Even my daughter who is not a big fan of carrots enjoyed it.
Followed the recipe exactly. Delicious! Will definitely make this again.
Loved this recipe! Not an overwhelming flavor, but very different. My family loved it!
Very delicious. It added a nice zip to boring old steam carrots.
It was a little sweet for my taste, but my 3 y/o son loved it. It was a good dish overall
