Directions

  1. In large saucepan cook onion and garlic in hot oil until tender. Add mushrooms. Cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes or until tender.
  2. Stir in undrained tomatoes, carrot, vinegar and basil. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes or until desired thickness. Stir in Chik'n Strips. Cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes or until heated through.
  3. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Toss tomato mixture with pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.

I also used fresh chicken breast. It was way too much vinegar and basil. It tastes alright, but I won't make again.

I followed this recipe exact except that I used fresh chicken breasts, cooked and cubed. I don't particularly love tomato-based chicken dishes but this really is a great recipe.

Bad bad bad. Not good taste at all. Way too much vinegar taste.

i loved this recipe!i'm 14 and i made this for dinner,and it was so easy and everone loved it!

This recipe is so good! I used a 14oz can of stewed tomatoes with a 6oz can of tomato paste, and it came out tasting great. The tofu chicken tastes like real chicken. There really is no reason to eat real chicken.
