"My mom was mad because none of the Turkish coffee recipes she could find online were close to the way she used to make it. This is her way of making Turkish coffee."

1 1/4 cups
2 1/2 tablespoons
finely ground Turkish-style coffee
white sugar, or to taste
The whole idea of me looking for a Turkish Coffee recipe was to see a recipe from scratch, with the individual ingredients, spices, that make it "Turkish". This is a real disappointment. I'm right where I started: Having to go out and buy a prepackaged mix.
I bought a bag of Turkish coffee, but wasn't sure how to make it, so I looked up this recipe. I made this with cashew milk instead of regular milk. Otherwise followed the directions, and found it a bit too strong and rich. Also, I need two servings and it only came out to half a cup. I'm not sure if Turkish coffee supposed to be drunk in smaller cups. If so, then it makes sense.
