Holy moly this has 2,213 mg of salt in every serving!!! That's outrageous and over a day's worth of sodium. NO thanks, that's inedible and a waste of good food.
To make this better, you would have to eliminate the Rice a Roni and soup mix, which are both notorious for excessive sodium. Replace them with no salt beef/chicken or veggie bouillon, and use regular rice and add a bunch of spices like sage, garlic and onion powder. Real onion would help, too. But then that would be a whole new recipe, not this one. Sorry, I'm not going to even attempt this one.
