Original Recipe Yield 1 sandwich
 

Ingredients

  • 2 slices 100% whole wheat bread
  • 3 ounces sliced turkey breast
  • 1/2 Granny Smith apple, sliced thin
  • 1/2 Gala apple, sliced thin
  • 1 ounce Brie, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Shredded Romaine lettuce*
  • 2 tablespoons light mayonnaise, divided

Directions

  1. Spread one slice of bread with 1/2 of the mayonnaise. Layer turkey, apples, cheese, and lettuce (or coleslaw) on the bread. Spread the second slice of bread with remaining mayonnaise and top sandwich. Slice in half. Serve with extra apple slices if desired.

This was a delicious concept! I made quite a few changes to suit my husband and my's tastes....
