Sounds good! I was looking for a recipe my mom called Tuna Hero Sandwich and this came the closest. I needed to see how long to cook it. Really the only difference is she used sliced Swiss cheese and put it on top of the tuna then replaced the top. Yummy!

Delicious! Cheesy and crunchy. I sautéed the onions, and added some hot sauce just to add some kick. Love them!

This sandwich is nothing special. It has little flavor aside from the onion. I'd recommend halving the onion and doubling the cheese. It's a pretty average tuna melt.

This was delicious. I used whole wheat bread instead of buns. I used yellow cheese instead of cheddar. Next time I would omit the onions and some of my kids picked them out.

This was pretty tasty! I made this for a quick dinner when all I had in the pantry was tuna. Much better than plain cold tuna salad. I didn't have any celery so I left it out (I don't like celery anyway) and I only had Muenster cheese, but it worked well and tasted yummy! I loved the onion, too, but would have to leave it out if I ever make these for the hubby since he hates onions. I also just used regular sandwich bread and let them warm for 20-25 minutes.

Not too bad, was in a hurry and didn't read the reviews and wish I would've cut the onion amount in half. Overall good flavor. I'll try again

Wow. I usually don't like tuna, but for whatever reason we happened to have some, so I was searching for a recipe that would help me to get rid of it. I happened upon this one, and it is delicious. It's making me reconsider my dislike of tuna.
