Third time making this cake by request for my office. I add a glaze because they are chocolate lovers, but it is also great with powdered sugar. My go-to chocolate cake recipe.

Wow--the name says it all! If you're a serious chocolate lover (like my husband), this is fantastic. For others it might be... well... too much. :) Overall this was pretty good and I'll make it again for my chocoholic friends.

My go-to cake recipe. I fill the bundt hole with raspberries and sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top. People eat this up!

This Cake is the best Chocolate cake I have ever made. It does not need a glaze on top it is very yummy with the dusting of powdered sugar on top and some homemade whipped cream on the side. This is my go to cake. Thanks very much Denise for a fantastic recipe.

i only had a smaller box of both the devils food cake mix (15 oz) and chocolate pudding mix (3 oz), so I just added a little less than a cup of sour cream and applesauce (instead of oil, cause that's what I had) and a little less than a 1/2 cup water. I put 3 egg whites and one whole egg with yolk. I made cupcakes and baked for 20 minutes. They came out perfect. Frosted with store bought frosting and they were delicious!

Excellent and very easy. If you add mini chocolate chips the toothpick test really isn't helpful - it will come out gooey with melted chocolate even if the cake is finished. Know your oven, trust the time and as long as the top is springy you'll be good. Rather than a glaze I combined this with a homemade amaretto whipped cream (heavy whipping cream + a dash of amaretto liqueur or almond extract + 1 TBS of confectioner's sugar + tsp cream of tartar for stiffness). It was a nice complement.

This is the moistess chocolate bundt recipe ever! For a taste twist, I added 1 tbsp instant coffee granules to the mixture. Yum!
