This recipe was well-rated, so I gave it a try. Fantastic! Sooo easy too. A couple adjustments however: I followed several reviewers advice and tripled both the coffee and the booze (I used kahlua for booze and espresso for coffee). This is a lot of the flavour and since the lady fingers absorb it all so quickly it is very important to have plenty of coffee/booze. Also, try and have the mascarpone at room temperature before mixing in...otherwise it'll likely be lumpy. Other than that, great recipe! Will definitely make again.

I love the recipe. Here are my suggestions and what I did different and had great feedback from tiramisu lovers. -for the soft lady fingers I would bake them in the oven at 320 for 10-15 minutes so they get harder; ideally find some hard ones or make your own -dip them quickly in coffee/rum mixture and line the pan, then when soft squish them together to fit more of them -sprinkle the cocoa powder between each layer -fold the custard into the whip cream and add a little more vanilla

I decided to try this recipe since it had so many good reviews .I also increased the coffee. For every 1/4c of coffee I added 2T of rum. I also added 1tsp of espresso powder to the brewed coffee.I too didn't split the ladyfingers, when I finished making it, I put it in the fridge to age for 2 days like some of the reviews suggested! This was absolutely delicious! Everybody wanted seconds and I will certainly make this again.

I love Tiramisu! This was kind of boring and had a custard flavor to it. :(

This was delicious! My first time to make it, and it was for a dinner party of 12. They all loved it!!! I too doubled the coffee and rum.

Best tiramisu ever, bar none. I used extra coffee liqueur, instead of rum, gives it a nice boost of flavour.
