I made this recipe exactly as stated and it is soooo good tasting and the easiest dough that I have ever worked with when making cutout cookies. The cookies came out nice and thick and looked wonderful. My husband and I just decorated 4 dozen for Easter and I must say that we are proud of the results. Took them to work and to the grandchildren. I also will share this wonderful recipe with friends and family for all of its great merits.

I have tried so many different sugar cookie recipes AND this by far is the BEST one I have found. The dough is so easy to make and cook time is so short. Reccomend this to all!!!

I get so many complements on these sugar cookies, have made them many times. I follow the original recipe, don't add a thing. Perfect cookies, especially when iced with royal icing.

Good taste, however I added 1/4 cup additional sugar and will add even more next time, because I like desserts really sweet! They do take a long time to make, with having to cool the pan every time. But they are worth it if you enjoy sugar cookies. I made sure to take them out of the oven just when they were first set, not at all brown, so they would be soft.
