Delicious! Yesterday I was exhausted and wanted an easy hamburger recipe. I didn't want to chop anything or mess around with spices and I came upon this recipe. I thought it sounded a little strange with the french fried onions, but gave it a shot. I only had about half a container of the onions left over from Christmas. I did not marinade it and I did not use cheese. I used Kikkoman teriaki marinade with garlic and ginger flavor and 80% ground beef/20% fat. I only added a little garlic salt to it and WOW! It was so delicious....like from a restaurant delicious! Thanks so much for posting! I will definitely be using this recipe again!

Very Tasty! It's good on it's own, in a bun or over rice. Marinated it for a few hours prior to cooking.

I made these as is in the recipe and cooked them on a charcoal grill and they were perfect. Everyone loved them, I think next time I might try some grilled pineapple to top them as suggested but other than that I wouldn't change much.

These were made even more delicious by using organic, grass fed beef! I also used a pineapple teriyaki sauce/marinade that I have had lying around unopened.

I didn't get the meatloaf feel from this that some other people got. My husband HATES meatloaf but loved this! Next time I will use more teriyaki cause I shorted it a bit and was scared it would overpower the meat, but it was really good! Definitely a keeper ;)

These burgers were very tasty! I made a few changes though. First I used two pounds of 93% lean ground beef. I put the beef in a big Ziploc bag with 1 cup of Teriyaki marinade, two teaspoons of minced garlic and some salt and pepper. Then I let the meat marinate over night. Before grilling them I added some bread crumbs to keep the burgers together and the french fried onions. I had no problems with the burgers falling apart on the grill. They came out wonderfully! They were perfect with grilled pineapple rings and mayo on the bun. These burgers were so good they didn't even need the cheese! :)
