Very good! I didn't have dry milk powder so I substituted non-flavored coffee creamer. It was great and fairly easy!

It tasted good, nothing really special. Plain enough that kids would eat it. I think it was too much time for the end result, the total time on this was about 2 1/2 hours. This same recipe could be done much faster with pre-made bread dough. Also the dough does not need the second rising, just fill and put in the oven. This is a good recipe for customizing.

I've used this recipe many times and we love it. I don't use the mushrooms and olives since my children don't care for them. The only other thing I do differently is that I put the filling down the middle 50% of the dough and then just barely overlap the side braid strips in the center. When I followed the original recipe and put the filling in the middle third of the dough, the top of the braid is really thick (twice as thick as the bottom).
