This was actually pretty good. I kept my expectations low because it is so different than what we normally cook.
I would change the apple pie filling, and should have used less. Maybe sautee fresh apples for more texture and make a sauce from the juices?
I would also add something spicy like red pepper flakes to it before baking to make it less sweet. Overall, my husband and I liked it and will play with the recipe to fine tune it to our taste buds.
