My family and I made these cookies for Christmas and they were DELICIOUS!!!!! I rolled them in almonds because that was the only thing we had on hand but they were still great!!! My 11 year old daughter kept sneaking them from the kitchen so there aren't many left. They melt in your mouth! Very good!!!!!

The chocolate version of this cookie-- with the 1/3 c cocoa-- is a sophisticated, delicious one, great for entertaining.

I mixed the nuts in, using 2/3 of a cup. I found the cookie just above average. Next time I would use 1 cup of nuts

This is a simple recipee and FULL of flavor. Definitely use cinnamon-sugar, instead of plan sugar. It makes a HUGE difference!

followed suggestions of using cinnamon sugar and rolling dough into hazelnut size balls (1/2 tablespoon measuring spoon gave just the right size IMO) and they turned out beautiful. I usually chill my dough so it doesn't spread too much but this dough was fine baking at room temp. on parchment paper.

I made these cookies last year for my son's Language class & they were a hit. So this year my son asked me to make them again, but I have to make extra because my daughter loved them too. Very easy to make.
