Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Beat egg whites, salt, cream of tartar, sugar and vanilla until the meringue is stiff.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Place 1 teaspoonful of meringue on the lined cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 25 minutes.
