I had my doubts while assembling the cake (which I did the day before) but I shouldn't have worried, the cake was delicious. I have already had requests for another one! Didn't change anything. Thank you for a great recipe.

I added some cut up fresh strawberries to outline the cake. Can't wait to try it tonight! I only used about 3/4 of the jar of preserves and 1/4 of the can of condensed milk. My husband doesn't like it when the cakes are all soggy from the milk.
