Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
  2. Cream the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Stir in the egg yolk and vanilla. Mix in flour just until incorporated. Knead dough lightly on a board. Place in a pastry bag using the star design. Cut off desired lengths and shape into rings or S's.
  3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden.

As most Swedish sprits doughs this dough needs to rest in a cool place for at least 24 hours....

This was not very tastey it was way to dry and floury it didn't even go through my spritzer.
