Original Recipe Yield 3 dozen
 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup sifted cocoa
  • 3 tablespoons dark corn syrup
  • 6 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together. Form into one inch balls.
  2. Roll balls in a mix of cocoa power and confectioner's sugar. Store covered several days before serving. Cookie can be stored for several weeks in a covered container.
