This was pretty good!! I used brown rice also and used fresh broccoli instead of the mix. All in all it was good! All 3 of my kids enjoyed it! We will def make this again! Thanks for sharing!!

there was no heat. it tasted like athrown together meat and rice dish. not what i would call jambalay

sorry but i have to agree with janhomecookin.....that is NOT a jambalaya. it's no where NEAR one.

This was very good. I would really only have given it 4 stars, but I threw in the extra to make up for the review before mine. There is no strict definition of what has to be in "jambalaya", and even if there were, you're still a pompous clown for giving a 1-star review based on semantics. *Ahem* Sorry. Excellent recipe. I used brown rice, and added extra hot pepper sauce 'cause we like it spicy. Thanks for sharing!

Sorry, but this isn't jambalaya. Not sure what you might call it, but jambalaya? I think not. And I know; I'm a New Orleans native.
