Spiced Slow Cooker Applesauce Recipe Reviews - Allrecipes.com (Pg. 3)
Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
my 15 month old just ate three bowls of this mixed with his baby cereal -- a great way to hide all that iron! i used only 1/2 c. sugar and increased the spice to 1 tsp. threw in the vitamix and pulsed a few times to get to saucy consistency. will reduce sugar again next time. and will definitely make again -- easy, fresh and smelled great. UPDATE: this time i left skins on (since i puree anyway), skipped all sugar and used 1/2 c. fresh OJ (one large orange) instead of water.

I love this, both as a low calorie dessert and a starter crock pot recipe.

This was really good, but I will definitely cut the sugar in half next time. It was a little sweet for our taste.

Very yummy!!! A little sweet, so may cut back on sugar added since the apples have a lot of natural sugar already, but DEFINITELY will make this again and again! A big hit w/ the hubby & two boyzz! :)
