Cooked without Worcestershire sauce because I just did not have any on hand but it was great regardless. Thanks.

My husband does not like beef and I didn't have any minced chicken or turkey on hand, but I followed everything else with the recipe. (Oh, I did add fresh sliced mushrooms!) The sauce was delicious - we both enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing!

My family really liked this. I didn't have enough though because I didn't notice the recipe was for only two servings until I was almost done. Be sure to recalculate for you servings.

I was looking for a way to make jarred sauce taste better and this recipe definitely did. I double the recipe but rather than using the sauce and whole tomato I used a 26 oz jar of tomato basil sauce. Because the amount of sauce was tripled I increased the amount of worcestershire to 1 Tbsp. Tasted great!

This was a fast easy sauce that was plenty meaty. There wasn't much sauce though. I had to improvise a bit to use what I had available so I used mexican tomato sauce, canned diced italian style tomatoes, dried minced onion, and added a bit of beef bullion instead of salt. DH mentioned it was spicy and he isn't fond of worcestershire so that didn't go over well with him. I thought this was decent and I would fix it again. Thanks.

Much tastier than spaghetti with sauce from a jar. With a little more work than dumping sauce into a pan to heat, you can have a very tasty 'home made' dinner that your family will love! Add a little freshly grated Parmesan and serve with a side salad for a complete meal for those with a big appetite!

My family loved it! And I had all of the ingredients on hand which helps. I added chopped spinach for a veggie twist and the kids gobbled it up.

It was decent, but I made it with ground turkey instead, and did 1/2 lb ground turkey and 1/2 lb sweet sausage to add some flavor. I also added some oregano, basil, and garlic salt to give it a little more flavor.

This is not Italian. But then again it doesn't claim to be. It's sauce for spaghetti, or in my meal linguine. But call it what you will, it's good and it's simple. I gave it 5 stars for those qualities alone. I made it exactly by the recipe and enjoyed it. Since then I have modified it more to our taste. We like Italian Seasoning II by Denyse (this site) and a bit of crushed red pepper. Oh, yeah! This sauce is a great starting point. Try it... I don't think you will regret it. Thank you, Carolyn Ozment.
