I liked this! It has a lot of flavor without being too spicy (I used "mild" everything) and is very filling. I made it in a Dutch oven, stove top, brought everything to a boil, covered and reduced the temp to low and simmered for 4 hours. While I liked it, I would probably use ground turkey or shredded chicken next time, but I will make it again! Thank you!

I have made this soup exactly as the recipe states, and it is fabulous. It's one of my favorite recipes to make, and it's so easy. We have a very busy lifestyle, so this fits perfectly in our regular rotation. The great thing about this recipe is its versatility. You can add stuff to it, substitute, and it doesn't matter, the flavor stays excellent. We serve this with sour cream and shredded cheese and cornbread, and we're happy every time.

Yummy! I made this recipe exactly as written and it tasted really good. It definitely has a kick to it and my kids didn't like how spicy it was. The next time I made this I left out the can of diced green chile peppers and instead of using 2 cans of diced tomatoes, I used 1 can diced tomatoes and 1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilies. It was a nice compromise because the all the flavor was there but not all the spice. I can't wait to make this again!

Very good. Tastes like chili, not like tacos though.

I've been making a similar soup as this one for years. This recipe interested me because it had the tomato sauce as an ingredient that my other recipe doesn't call for. I made as directed with only two changes: substituted black beans for the kidney beans and added a packet of Ranch Dressing. We loved the flavor, but I prefer a thicker soup. Next time I will drain the liquid off of the corn and use tomato paste instead of tomato sauce. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

I added chili powder and cumin, and this recipe was still extremely bland. It had no taste. My boyfriend and I had to add hot sauce and lots of seasoning to our bowls just to get some flavor.
