Directions

  1. Mix the steak seasoning, garlic salt, black pepper, and chili powder in a small bowl. Rub the ribs all over with the seasoning mix, and place into the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour in barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, orange juice, and hot pepper sauce. Liquid should not cover the ribs all the way.
  2. Set the cooker to Low, and cook until ribs are tender, about 8 hours.

Footnotes

  • Cook's Note
  • This is another one of my recipes that is pretty much eyeballed. It can be varied very, very easily depending on the size of your cooker and how many ribs you are using. It is GREAT over mashed potatoes and with any veggie really, though I tend to make my green beans with it.

These came out really delicious. However, I only bought 2 pounds of ribs, and I needed a lot more of the dry ingredients to get a good rub. I just kept adding to the bowl - probably with a tablespoon of each dry ingredient by the end.

I just didn't care for these. The smell all day wasn't even a good one. Not sure what was off in the ingredients for me ... the OJ? Who knows, but something in it, just wasn't a good fit for me. The ribs were tender, though.

YUMMY! This was easy & so good! I did as someone suggested & started off with about 1TSP of the dry ingredients & didn't add hot pepper sauce because I didn't have any on hand....cooked for about 6 hours....other than that I followed directions.......fall apart tender! Friends & family loved it! Will be having this again!

The sauce for this recipe was really yummy! I don't know what went wrong with my ribs though, they tasted like sawdust! Really dried out. I had them in the slow cooker for about 9 hours, I don't know if the heat was too high. Next time I may try bone-in ribs and put my cooker on auto-shift to see if that helps. Loved the sauce, I put it over white rice!
