For this recipe I used a 9 lb, Maple Smoked, uncooked, bone-in ham. I used 2 cans of pineapple slices, poured the juice of the first can into the bottom and mixed with brown sugar before adding the ham. I then covered the ham in brown sugar and pineapple slices, covered it in tin foil, put the lid on and cooked it on low for about 4 1/2 hours. About half way through I followed another persons review and transferred much of the liquid to a pot, added about two TBSP of cornstarch, 1 tsp of ground cloves and the remaining pineaple juice, cooked for about 15 minutes until it was nice and thick and then basted the ham with it and continued cooking. This turned out great! Next time I may reduce the time to 4 hours but otherwise wouldn't change a thing!
