I have made this only with Original Red Hot Sauce and chicken in the slow cooker and everyone loved it! Great on top of a salad with ranch or blue cheese dressing too! Definitely a keeper!

I love buffalo wings so I had to try this. It turned out great. I didn't use the ranch dry mix instead I just used regular ranch about 1/2 cup and it was perfect. My man loved it as well. Will be making it again :)

as another reviewer suggested, I shredded the chicken after 5 hours on LOW; then added the butter and heated for another 2 hours on LOW; this really did help infuse the spiciness into the meat. Definitely served with ranch dressing on the buns.

very good! I used breast and thighs. I highly recommend using franks. I used a wing sauce from dollar store and it was too runny .

this is a staple at our house now! sooo easy. you don't need to use a ranch packet if you don't have one. the sauce and butter is fine. just make sure you don't over cook the chicken, each slow cooker is different and it depends on the size and heat of your cooker and how full it is.

Be careful what ranch you use. Mine turned out so salty I had to mix it with a pound of rice for it to be edible. The rice was really quite good, just not what I was going for.

I love love LOVE this recipe. I've recently been learning to cook more with the slow cooker, an this was a simple an delicious recipe for me to make. Even my boyfriend who isn't one to express his feelings when he enjoys something I make raved about it to his co-workers.
