My chops turned out very dry which I thought was near impossible in a slow cooker, but I managed to do it. Not sure why. I followed recipe exactly except I used fresh ground nutmeg instead of Mace. No need to pay almost $5 for a tiny bit of Mace. Just use a little nutmeg. Mace is just the outer shell of a nutmeg and a little milder. The juice from the pork chops really dilutes the cherry pie filling. I will try again and use 2 cans of cherry pie filling and then cook it down at the end to thicken it. It has real potential to be wonderful. I love fruit cooked with pork. I may use pork tenderloin instead of pork chops too. I rarely have good luck with pork chops, but for some reason I keep trying.

I usualy find pork chops really dry. This recipie made them moist. Tasted really great but i'm not a fan of pork chops anyways. Couldnt find mace at the grocery store but still turned out. I recomend for pork chop lovers out there.

Yummy easy way to do pork chops. I thought the cherries complimented the pork nicely. I didn't have the chicken bouillon but didn't miss it.

I thought these were okay they just weren't my favorite thing. I think its just a personal thing though I'm not a fan of mixing sweet and salty but I wanted to try something a different. They were worth trying.

I did not care for this recipe, but to be fair, the others seemed to really like it.

I really liked this recipe, but I'll give it four stars because I don't think my boyfriend honestly cared for it. (I'm just learning to cook... he's very supportive, but won't be honest if he doesn't like something! how cute.) My only complaint is that the chops weren't as moist as I would have liked.

My family enjoyed this recipe tremendously. I didn't have any mace, but I added a few shakes of cinnamon, ground cloves and nutmeg to the filling and it was great. I have done the crock pot version and also baked this recipe in the oven at 350 for 1 hour and it worked out great!
