Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, cubed and softened

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet; add cabbage and green pepper and toss to coat. Stir in water, salt and pepper. Cover; simmer for 8-10 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Add cream cheese; stir until melted.
