"Don't turn your nose up at this dish. Melon grills beautifully, and the minty sauce takes it to the next level. For a great dessert, serve it with big scoops of vanilla ice cream." — Lol

Grilled Cataloupe? You bet, this recipe was awesome. I would have never suspected grilled fruit could taste so good until I tasted this recipe at a friends house. I suspect it's got something to do with the ice cream and sauce on the side . . .
Not very impressive. The mint conflicted with the melon too much. I think it would have been better with only the butter and honey.

I made this for a BBQ dinner party last night. Everyone thought I was weird when I started putting cantaloupe on the grill, but then they tried it. Everyone loved it! I was pleasantly surprised myself. I served the cantaloupe over ice cream and poured the sauce on top. I will definitely make this again. Thanks for a really great and different recipe!
Delicious recipe and concept! Make sure your pieces are pretty big chunks. My husband loved the texture. Ca't wait to make this for friends.
Love, love, love the texture of BBQ cantaloupe! Great also seasoned with salt & pepper on baby spinach salad.
the sauce was delicious with ice cream!
I was underwhelmed. The idea is cool, but there wasn't enough flavor for us. Bland.
Mmmm... a nice change!!
