Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Saigon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon Spice Islands® Ground Cloves
  • 1 dash Spice Islands® Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Spice Islands® 100% Pure Bourbon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups quick OR old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cumin, cloves, cayenne pepper, soda, and salt in a large bowl; set aside.
  3. Beat butter and sugars in a large bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, mix until just combined. Stir in oats and raisins.
  4. Drop by level tablespoon 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden. Cool 1 minute on baking sheet before transferring to cooling rack.
