Directions

Toss together romaine, Boston, iceberg lettuces and watercress in a large salad bowl.
Halve, pit and peel the avocados and cut them into 1/2-inch pieces.
Arrange chicken, bacon, tomato and avocado decoratively over the greens. Garnish the salad with the chopped egg and chives.
Dressing Directions: Whisk together vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper to taste.
Add CRISCO® oil in a slow stream, continuously whisking. Whisk dressing until thick and blended.
Stir in Roquefort. Whisk dressing again and pour it over the salad. Toss salad well before serving.

Great tasting and not just for summer, this is one of my all time favorite salads! Not only because it's chock full of great stuff, but because I can get my husband to eat salad since it's got bacon and hard boiled egg in it, LOL. Since I didn't have time to cook tonight this was perfect! Plus I was able to take a nice shortcut and use rotisserie chicken and pre-washed bagged salad. I doubled the amount of hard-boiled egg and added some crumbled blue cheese. I also opted for some bottled Ranch dressing from Hidden Valley Ranch. Great with warm rolls!
