This comes under the catagory of, "Dude, you didn't even make this recipe!", but I wanted to share my variations. I used fresh porcini mushrooms and onions, & added some fresh sliced garlic and a couple of Thai peppers. I sauted the vegetables in peanut oil, then added the chicken (boneless thighs cut into cubes) to brown. I didn't have Italian dressing, so I used an orange miso vinagrette with the soy sauce & sugar. While it was simmering I caught a whiff of the peanut oil & thought, "peanut butter!", which gave it a bit of a satay flavor. Over rice as per the recipe, it was very tasty!
